Raine is actually so epic because they play viola, not violin! the viola is a deeper, and often more beautiful instrument with a unique clef that only violas use. many violinists will switch to learning viola because there are more opportunities for violists, as it is a less popular instrument. there is also a certain personality associated with violists that Raine definitely embodies: humble, brave, and full of heart. I also think it’s awesome that a violists became the head bard because, again, it is less common. I myself play viola, and am very proud that such an incredible character shares my instrument!
